I bought my first Harris Tweed vintage jacket from Denise and Steve. From initial order to arrival, first class. The jacket? Both my wife and I were very impressed with the condition of the jacket 50 plus years old. Again first class! I would buy here again without concern. 10/10 !The only small thing which has no reflection to the jacket purchased is which I did pencil in when buying was I may need a slight alteration to the sleeve length which I am having done locally. My experience with Tweedmans has been excellent. Denise was prompt to answer my queries about sizing, and genuinely very helpful. Unfortunately the first coat I tried didn't quite fit well (down to my misjudgement). But I returned without any issues, and because of this the second one I ordered was a perfect fit. I'll happily recommend Tweedmans to people I know :o). I almost wish you did ladies coats as well, then I could buy my partner one! "After searching hi & low on a well known bidding website I thought I'd do a google search and bingo!...came across this wonderful company ""Tweedmans"" and spent the next 2 hours pouring over the beautiful array of clothing, especially the Harris tweed jackets. Long story shorter ;) I made a call to Steve who was beyond polite and very helpful despite my best frank Spencer impressions. (I had no clue about measurement etc and fit) He guided me expertly! I called back after choosing my Harris tweed jacket and confirmed it was in stock (I was obsessing by this time and needed to double check ) anyways, the payment was made and Steve sent it that afternoon and it arrived next day! And this is the crucial part, I am simply stunned beyond belief at the sheer quality of the item, how on this earth I got it for the price I paid is again beyond me! For all intents and purposes it is literally like brand new! Never in my dreams could I have afforded a new Harris tweed jacket but now I own one and although it may seem I'm gushing(which i am ;) it has made me so happy, especially in this present climate of recession!. A full circle return is happening where I hope people realise that good garments well made (that may cost much, but not in this case) is the best financial investment a person can make in the long run, I simply cannot see myself outliving this wonderful jacket! I phoned Denise to bestow my gratitude after receiving the garment & I must say what a wonderful demeanour she has and this flows throughout the entire company, the goods, the ordering experience and the service.
